2. What we process, and why

Taking the quiz

• Your 25 answers (ratings 1–5), your optional first name and your optional focus choice ("what do you most want to understand") are processed to generate your free preview and, after purchase, your full profile.
• These are stored on our server under a random session ID (no account, no login) so that your profile can be regenerated for support purposes — for example if you lose access before generation completes.

Purchasing

• Payment data (name, email, billing address, payment method) is collected and processed directly by Paddle as Merchant of Record. We never see your full payment details.
• From Paddle we receive: a transaction ID, your email address, the amount and currency, and the site language — stored together with your unlock code to deliver the product, send your profile email, and handle support and refunds.

Your finished profile

• The generated profile (including your first name and the email it was sent to) is stored on our server so we can re-send or regenerate it for you on request.

Technical

• IP addresses are processed for rate limiting (abuse prevention) and in ordinary server logs of our hosting provider.
• localStorage (in your browser, not a cookie): stores your quiz answers, first name, focus choice and session ID so a returning visit can restore your progress. You can delete this at any time in your browser settings.
• Paddle cookies: during checkout, Paddle sets its own cookies for session management.
• We use no analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

3. Processors and international transfers

Anthropic, PBC (Claude API) — USA

To generate your preview and profile, your quiz answers, optional first name and focus choice are transmitted to Anthropic (Claude AI model). Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) govern the transfer to the USA. More: anthropic.com/privacy

Paddle.com Market Ltd. — United Kingdom

Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) — EU

Transactional email delivery: your unlock confirmation and your profile email are sent via Brevo (email address, first name and profile content are processed for this purpose). Brevo's privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy

Hosting

This website is hosted on a web server; data arising from hosting (server logs, IP address, access time) is processed to provide the website.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): quiz processing, profile generation, delivery, support.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): abuse prevention/rate limiting, server logs, defence of legal claims.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): retention duties for purchase records (via Paddle as Merchant of Record).

5. Retention

• Quiz answers on the server: kept only as long as needed for delivery and support, then deleted.
• Stored profiles and unlock codes: kept while we may need to re-deliver your purchase; deleted on request.
• Rate-limit data: rolling 24-hour window.
• Purchase records at Paddle: per statutory retention periods (typically up to 10 years for invoices).
• localStorage: remains in your browser until you delete it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right — including deletion of your stored answers, profile and unlock data — email hello@jungquiz.com.

7. No profiling beyond the product

Your answers are used solely to generate your profile. They are not sold, not used for advertising, and not merged with data from other sources.
